Why Can't We All Just Get Along?
The smallest letter, the least stroke of a pen...
It was DELISH! We started off with an appetizer of Scottish Potato Scones with Raspberry sauce. Then, I had Shepherd's Pie and Deborah had Bangers and Mash. For desert we had yummy bread pudding with cream and a strawberry! We even got to meet Molly MacPherson's great-grandaughter! It was such fun. Then we took a drive down River St. and a few of the famous 'Squares' before going on to the class. I LOVE Savannah!
I've always loved photography. Since I got my first camera around the age of 11 or so, I loved taking pictures. My week spot, though, is NO patience. My son, Kai, just started a project at school. He had to hang a hummingbird feeder and observe it, filling out an observation sheet every week. When we first started seeing hummingbirds, we were very excited and I wanted to get a picture. And I got one! I was very proud of myself although, the picture wasn't great because I had to take it through a screen. I tried to sit out on the steps, but the hummingbirds wouldn't come while I was there, and I didn't have the patience to wait long enough for them to get used to me being there. The next day I went out and while I was gone, Kai and Alyssa decided to wait out the hummingbirds on the steps. Their patience was rewarded! Kai took several beautiful pictures of them, and his turned out so much better than mine! Way to go Kai! Here they are:
These are my children. Meet, Kai the creator. He is 8. He recently checked out a book from the library about Origami paper airplanes. He has been loving this book. I can't count how many different airplanes he's made. (But, I've made at least 4 or 5! Fun!) Naturally his little brother wants to play with them, too! Meet Roan, the comedian. He just turned 4 and constantly keeps us laughing. When Kai got upset at Roan for taking his paper airplanes, Roan said, "You make 'em, I take 'em!" Now meet Alyssa, the singer. She is 10. Last week she auditioned for the District 5 Elementary School Honor Choir. We just found out yesterday that she made it! Congratulations Alyssa!
